Weapons are any item that can be equipped, and used by Characters or Vehicles to usually cause damage, depleting health, and forming the core of Plazma Burst's game play. Damage is usually caused by Weapons that fire projectiles, although some Weapons need to be thrown to cause their effects.

Many of these weapons have differing sets of statistics, such as damage per shot, fire rate, accuracy, what type of projectile is fired, etc. Allowing each of these weapons to create different, and interesting combat scenarios within the Plazma Burst series. Every weapon is unique, each having different advantages and weaknesses. These weapons can range from basic pistols, assault rifles, explosive rocket launchers, powerful railguns, and radioactive energy cannons.

Details

In addition to dealing damage, some Weapons can provide other forms of utility, such as granting the ability to Selfboost, reviving dead allies, or deploying a protective shield.

List of weapons

This is a list of all the weapons from the Plazma Burst series. Most Weapons in this list only appear in Plazma Burst 2, more in depth information on each Weapon can be found on their respective articles.

Slot 1 — Sidearms

Slot 1 contains both highly accurate pistols, and fast-firing SMGs.

Slot 2 — Rifles

Rifles generally have the highest fire rate when compared to other slots. Though there are other weapons that favor having increased damage, and accuracy, at the expense of fire rate.

  • Minigun C-02m - A large gatling gun-type weapon with a high rate of fire, and powerful bullets, the best in it's slot class. Noir Lime's signature weapon in Plazma Burst 2.
  • Assault Rifle CS-RC - A modern rifle that fires slightly stronger bullets with better accuracy, but at a slower rate of fire than the C-01r. Resembles the real world XM8.
  • Alien Rifle - A special rifle that features the best accuracy, damage, and penetration of all Slot 2 rifles, but with a very low rate of fire. Has a similar appearance to the Alien Shotgun.
  • Ray Rifle TCoRR - A compact, and accurate repeater that shoots potent ray bullets at a high rate of fire. It is statistically similar to the Minigun C-02m, but it's projectiles are marginally weaker.
  • M4A1 - Experimental assault rifle-type weapon, fires invisible bullets at an incredible rate of fire. The M4A1 has a reload mechanism, and, unlike the non-test weapons, the weapon has to change magazines every 30 rounds when firing by holding down the left mouse button and 16 rounds when firing by clicking many times. It also has a powerful kick that greatly effects the player's stability, and is often used for gliding. Its not permitted for approved maps.
  • Star Defender Rifle - Statistically identical to the CS-RC, but it's sprites are drawn in a pixel art style.
  • CP-Assault Rifle - Statistically identical to the Assault Rifle C-01r, but has increased accuracy and a different firing sound.
  • Assault Rifle AV-135 - A heavy duty rifle that has medium-high damage and somewhat poor accuracy.
  • PHANX-92 Falconet - Similar to the CR-45, the PHANX-92 also features a slow fire rate and medium damage. It trades a slight fire rate decrease for high accuracy, however.

Slot 3 — Shotguns

Shotguns fire multiple pellets per shot, dealing heavy damage up-close.

  • Shotgun C-01s - A compact shotgun used by the Marine that fires 3 projectiles per shot, with good penetration. A weaker design is used by Human Soldiers. Less powerful than the CS-DAZ, but has higher accuracy allowing for more kills at long range.
  • Shotgun CS-DAZ - A powerful pump action shotgun that fires 4 pellets in one shot. Low accuracy and rate of fire, decent penetration, and high damage (if all 4 bullets hit).
  • Alien Shotgun - Rapid-firing Usurpation Forces' weapon. The rate of fire is identical to that of the Alien Rifle, and it shoots two moderately-high damaging projectiles per shot. It is more like a hybrid between Alien Rifle and a shotgun.
  • Falkonian Shotgun - A fast firing shotgun which fires a three round burst. Each shot has two projectiles, for a total of six projectiles per burst.
  • Shotgun NXS-25 - A high damage, low fire rate pump-action shotgun with 4 pellets.
  • Android Shotgun - A high damage energy shotgun firing a spread of 3 projectiles that cannot pierce.
  • Plasma Shotgun - A high damage, low fire rate energy shotgun firing 3 plasma projectiles with a small AoE.
  • Alien Rail Shotgun - Fires a blast of 3 rail projectiles at an average rate, but deals less damage.
  • Eos Auto Shotgun - Fires 5 pellets per shot at a very fast rate, at the expense of significantly reduced damage.
  • Scavenger Shotgun - Fires 4 pellets per shot at a fast rate, at the expense of reduced damage compared to other shotguns.

Slot 4 — Sniper weapons

Sniper weapons generally have pinpoint accuracy, very high damage, and piercing per shot, at the expense of fire rate. Weapons in this category will often fire Rails, capable of instantly hitting targets, and reflecting off of walls in Multiplayer deathmatch modes.

  • CS-GaussRifle - Energy-based rifle, shoots big ray pellets on high speed and is very effective and possess a high reloading time and high recoil, like Heavy Railgun the gun can be reloaded while holstered.
  • Sniper Rifle CS-YippeeKiYay - An accurate, high damage ballistic sniper rifle. Does not reload while holstered, but features a laser sight that can detect invisible, or off-screen enemies when a shot is chambered.
  • Alien Sniper Rifle - Sniper rifle which shoots rails. High damage, brilliant Accurancy, and LED designator to indicate enemy presence and a targeting laser.
  • Needle - A sniper rifle that features high damage and good accuracy, and has a faster rate of fire over other weapons of its class. It lacks a LED designator, however.
  • Energy Rifle - A weapon very similar to the Lite Railgun, except for the fact it fires a ray projectile instead. It boasts high damage and accuracy.
  • Android Sniper Rifle - An energy-based sniper rifle that fires in 2 round bursts. It lacks a LED designator and has relatively poor accuracy for a sniper rifle, but boasts a high rate of fire.
  • Android Railgun -
  • Falkonian PSI Cutter - Powerful rail weapon with projectiles that are able to ricochet off of walls. High damage and accuracy.
  • Heavy Sniper Rifle RQ-10 - Similar to the Sniper Rifle CS-YippeeKiYay, but deals higher damage per shot at the expense of a slower reload.
  • Crossfire CR-34 Marauder - An energy weapon that shoots orange rails at a faster rate of fire than most Slot 4's, but deals less damage per shot.
  • Archetype 27XX - Fires a blast of 4 red bullets in a tight spread
  • Crossfire CR-54 Viper - Fires green bullets that inflict poison damage on hit, dealing damage over time at the expense of lower direct damage.
  • PHANX-230 Cobra - Fires a green rail that inflicts poison damage on hit. Deals more damage than the Viper, but has a slower rate of fire.
  • EOS Toxic Railgun - Statistically identical to the PHANX-230 Cobra, but has a different appearance.

Slot 5 — Explosives

Explosive weapons include rocket launchers, and grenade launchers. While these weapons generally have middling fire rate and accuracy, they deal high damage per shot, and the explosions can not only deal lethal damage to multiple enemies, but also knock them back further than most other weapons. Rocket projectiles start slow, but accelerate quickly over time.

  • RPG - A heavier version of the standard Rocket Launcher weapon, dealing much higher damage, and having a larger blast radius at the expense of having poor fire rate and accuracy.

Slot 6 — Support

Weapons that are meant for utility purposes, rather than combating enemies. There are only 2 weapons in this category.

  • Defibrillator - A small electronic device used to revive dead allies and cure the dying state, the user can also cure themself. It can also incur the dying state onto an enemy.
  • Medic Pistol - Identical in function to the Defibrillator, but fires a medicinal dart that can additionally heal lost health. Its fire rate is slightly slower than the Defibrillator.

Slot 7

  • CS-BNG - Fires an extremely powerful energy explosive that deals damage as it travels. The CS-BNGs high damage is somewhat counter-balanced by its slow rate of fire.
  • Portable Shield v07 CS-Quarium - When deployed, it emits a circular shield that blocks incoming fire until it is destroyed. Only usable in Multiplayer, but has a Slot 7 variant that can be used in Singleplayer, but only one can be held at a time.

Slot 8

  • Plasmagun CS-Bloom - Fires slow explosive plasma bolts at a fast rate, dealing increased damage and knockback at the expense of lesser accuracy — and a slightly slower rate of fire compared to most Slot 2's.
  • Alien Laser/Heater Rifle - Continuous beam weapons, has low-damage per shot and needs to cool down to reload, but has pinpoint accuracy and a very high rate of fire. The Alien Heater Rifle is colored white, and deals more damage per shot.
  • RMK-36 - Energy-based heavy machine gun that fires miniature BNG pellets. Compared to the Plasmagun, it has a faster rate of fire, but deals slightly less damage per shot.
  • Reakhohsha Focus Beam - Continuous beam weapon, similar to the Alien Heater Rifles, but deals more damage — and cools down faster at the expense of its magazine capacity.

Slot 9

  • Ray Gun C-01y - A powerful shotgun weapon that can fire a wide blast of energy pellets, replacing the Plasma Cannon. Compared to Slot 3 weapons, it deals more damage at the cost of some fire rate.
  • Drone Gun CS-Virus - Shoots out 3 drones which attacks enemies in range by homing in towards them. Drones can be destroyed by PSI Blades. Drones' life period is 10-15 seconds.
  • Shark - A shark puppet that can be wielded like a gun, firing it has no effect.

Slot 0

  • PSI Blades - Energy-based blades that can cause great amounts of damage and have the ability to deflect bullets.

Grenades

Contains a number of throwing devices, players can carry up to 6 of each grenade type.

  • Grenade C-00n - Basic high explosive grenade, explodes after roughly 3 seconds.
  • Portable Shield v07 CS-Quarium - When deployed, it emits a circular shield that blocks incoming fire until it is destroyed. Only usable in Multiplayer, but has a Slot 7 variant that can be used in Singleplayer, but only one can be held at a time.

Vehicle weapons

Weapons that can only be used by Vehicles.

Forward to the Past-only weapons

Weapons that are currently exclusive to Forward to the Past.

  • Electroshock - Assigned to slot 1, found in PB:FttP only. It is a taser-like device that electrocutes enemies on contact. Has a very low damage but a high damage per second.
  • Rocket Launcher - Fires powerful rockets that can bounce off of walls when landing on their side, but will otherwise explode on impact.
  • Plasma Cannon - A powerful shotgun weapon that can fire a wide blast of energy pellets, identical to the Ray Gun C-01y.
  • SMG - A machine gun that functions similarly to the Assault Rifle, but deals more damage, and has better accuracy at the cost of some fire rate. Can only be used by Noir Lime.
  • Arm Cannon - The PB:FttP weapon that is only used by Grubs, Blue Armored Grubs and Red Armored Grubs. It cannot be used by the player.

Normal

Bullet
  • Can pierce through walls and enemies, higher power values allow greater piercing capability
  • Can ricochet off of walls from certain angles
  • Can be reflected by PSI Blades
  • Gain faster projectile speed with a power value of 5 or higher
Rail
  • Cannot pierce through walls, but can still pierce through enemies with high enough power values
  • Hitscan — can instantly hit enemies from any distance
    • Rails have travel time when shot under water, but can become hitscan again upon resurfacing
  • Can ricochet off of walls from any angle, but only in Multiplayer deathmatch or team deathmatch

Explosives

Projectiles in this category will explode on impact, dealing damage in a radius, and increased damage on direct hits. Splash damage is doubled vs Vehicles.

Rocket

Example weapons include the majority of Slot 5 weapons, including the Rocket Launcher CS-LitBro, CS-Barrage, and the RPG.

  • Explodes on impact, dealing damage in a radius, and increased damage on direct hits
  • Projectile speed starts slow, but accelerates quickly over time
    • Rockets do not accelerate under water

Oddities

TBA

  • The Electroshock, Defibrillator, and Drone Gun CS-Virus cannot not do locational damage, meaning that hits will always deal the same amount of damage, regardless of which body part has been struck.
  • The Falkonian PSI Cutter fires bullets that ricochet from any angle, and cannot pierce walls. Its projectiles also suffer less damage fall-off from ricochets.
