Falkonian Ship in PB:FttP.

The Falkonian ship is a space ship in the Plazma Burst series, manufactured by the Falkoks. Seen in both games, it's used by the Marine and Noir Lime to first escape Mars and then reach Earth.

Their cabin can only fit one person, as stated by a wounded Noir in PB:FttP. According to Eric Gurt, their propulsion is similar to the one which powers the gravitators found throughout the game, which explains the similar trail coming from the exhaust. Falkonian ships appear to be launched vertically, as shown in PB:FttP, but it is unknown how they land. They are able to reach lightspeed, which hasn't been shown yet. It hasn't been disclosed either whether they have any offensive or defensive capabilities.[1]

PB:FttP appearance

It makes its first appearance at the end of the last level of Plazma Burst: Forward to the Past. After defeating Sword Bot, the Marine carries Noir to the ship so they can escape Mars and rejoin Earth, but Noir refuses, stating "Wait. Leave me here. I am wounded, and a cabin only for one." (sic). The Marine promises they'll see each other again before the final cutscene, where we see the ship flying towards Earth.

PB2 appearance

The main protagonist is shown landing on Earth via a Life-Capsule in the first level. However, in Level 6, the player can see the Marine's Falkonian ship in a CS base, seemingly having penetrated a bridge before crashing into the ground.

Noir Lime shows up towards the end of the campaign, in Level 40. His ship right in front of the Marine and Proxy, causing his death. Whether he was shot down or crashed intentionally is unknown, but he has to be revived in order to proceed with the game.

Trivia

A glitch.
  • Custom Maps can be rigged to allow an incoming Falkonian Ship to crash into the ground. A character can't be placed inside the ship, but you can make an illusion of this via some triggers. If there are trigger-activating regions nearby the crash place, the ship crashing will activate them. Technically speaking, it is not a Vehicle in Plazma Burst 2, but a Decoration and a Trigger action object.
  • The decor is unique in its own way. When placed onto the desired location, it will crash there and damage nearby objects, instead of simply appearing already crashed.
  • There is a glitch where if you make the timer's delay 0 and activate it, it will land in an awkward position.
  • They, or at least the Marine's ship, seem to have one or more Life-Capsule for ejecting. It is not known how though, as the ship is too small to carry one. Could this mean the Falkoks also manufactured them?
  • They're the only known alien vehicle so far.
