The Light Machine Gun CS-LMG is a Civil Security light machine gun in Plazma Burst 2. It has a high rate of fire, medium-high damage for its class, and poor accuracy. The CS-LMG's recoil climbs rapidly, so firing in bursts is more effective. The machine gun's damage and penetrative power increase with upgrades. Due to its rapid stopping power but poor accuracy, it is best suited for close quarters combat or laying down suppressing fire at medium range. Its performance is similar to the Minigun C-02m, to which it also bears a visual resemblance.

The light machine gun is distinguished from other long guns by its front-heavy design, its robust barrel cover, receiver, and stock. It is fed from a box magazine attached to the side of the weapon, and the handguard has holes mostly covered by the barrel shroud. It features a rather long adjustable-length stock as well, which is partially extended out of the frame of the weapon. Rails can be found atop the receiver, on a rail mount mounted onto the barrel shroud, the front end of which also has rails, and under the handguard.

Location

The Light Machine Gun CS-LMG does not appear in the campaign, and therefore is exclusive to custom maps created with the Advanced Level Editor.

• The Light Machine Gun CS-LMG was added in version 1.28, and was originally created by Darkstar 1.
  • In version 1.32, the weapon was renamed to fit the Civil Security naming format and was given a new sound.
• The gun was initially intended to be a minigun, hence the ID and previous name, Minigun LMG-01.
