Level 14 is a Usurpation ship level in the Plazma Burst 2 campaign. It is a single-player level where the Marine makes his way into a Usurpation ship and puts his combat skills up to the test against multiple waves of spawning Usurpation Soldiers. This is a small level, and only takes place in a single room, offering less cover and little space to the player as the enemies spawn.

Plot

Level 14 is the first Usurpation ship level where the Marine is in a Usurpation ship that is in close proximity to Earth (it has the tan/yellow block background). In the previous level, the character found a teleporter and went through it, taking him here. The Marine finds a lot of barrels and a few Civil Security corpses with their weapons close by. The Marine sees a lone Major Usurpation Soldier and kills him. As soon as the Marine enters the lower center of the room (where the Major Usurpation Soldier was found standing), a huge back-up force teleports on each side; the player must quickly open up the trapdoor and jump into a pit. When the aliens begin to teleport, the walls on the left and right sides of the map will move inward, forcing the Marine to move out in the open. He hits the two buttons (one is found on the left and the other on the right) and jumps down the pit.

Hostiles

Major Usurpation Soldier

These Usurpations sport Alien Rifles and are rarely seen alone. They prefer to attack enemies with hordes. There are 15 of them.

Trivia

  • This is one of the shortest levels by length.
  • A lone Major Usurpation Soldier is present, along with dead Civil Security soldiers. This could mean the alien had killed them after they went through the teleporter.
