Profile page

From Plazma Burst Official Wiki
(Redirected from Profile Page)

Profiles are pages on the Plazma Burst website that display personal details relating to the player who owns it. A profile page is automatically created alongside the user's account, and can be edited by them at any time to include writing in various items (Life slogan, Website, Discord username, etc). The user's game playing, and map making statistics are also logged on the Profile, they can also include a list of maps that the user has published, and lists of maps they like.

Private details such passwords and email addresses can also be changed through editing your profile. If you're logged into your account, visiting another user's profile can allow the ability to send them a private message — or a friend request. However, users can change who they'd like to receive private messages from (Everyone/Friends only/Nobody) and whether or not they can receive new friend requests at all.

Profile Contents

Account profiles contain a variety of details. Here is a list explaining the information that can be shown to others:

Nickname

The user can also edit their nickname as well, though it requires the login name to be used unless the nickname starts with "Not ", "Definitely not ", or "Fake ". The user can also put ".:Eric Gurt:. (login name)" to change their nickname to be a random prefix and suffix. In the past, players could have a nickname completely different to their username.

Information

Other fields that can be edited include the user's Life slogan, Birth date, and Skype/Discord usernames, There is also Website, which creates a hyperlink with whatever is written, and Location, which (if left blank/unknown) will use the player's IP to automatically place the name of their state and their respective flag, there are also secret flags such as "Space" and "- data lost -" location names are case-sensitive. Despite all of these fields having specific names, the user can choose to write whatever they want on these or leave them blank. They all each have their own character limits.

There are 3 options for Gender, "Male", "Female", or "-" which only changes the user's pronouns for certain self-destruct messages within multiplayer. "-" uses it/its, Guests also use these same pronouns.

Skins

The user can choose between 76 Deathmatch skins and 9 teamplay skins which are used in multiplayer only. This does not include the unarmed civilian/worker and female civilian skins, the invisible variant of the Civil Security Ghost, Drone Controller, and the FTP Star Defender.

Maps

The user's published maps are also shown on their profile with their newest maps being shown at the top, "Testing area" maps are marked with grey names and do not contribute LDR through votes. They're also able to add maps to their personal favorites or approval requests.

Status

Based on some statistics, a player's status can change, by default it is "User" and can have additional lines, with Staff Team statuses taking the most priority, whilst the custom statuses have the least. If the user is banned, the entire status is replaced with "User has active ban", sometimes with a reason explaining why. This list shows all known statuses except for ones that are staff team related.

  • Level Developer ( 5+ LDR )
  • Advanced Level Developer ( 30+ LDR )

  • User ( Default )
  • Player ( 501+ kills or 0.5+ SP )
  • Advanced Player ( 501+ kills or 0.5+ SP with the PROmoted or Immortal KDR rank )

Friends

A list of 100 of the player's friends. Like the enemies list, only the 30 most recent will be shown.

Though it cannot be seen on your own profile when you view it while logged in, there is a little section that allows players to add you as a friend and send you a personal message.

Statistics

A K/D ratio example.

Players are allowed to vote and review maps once they have attained 100+ kills, 0.5+ SP, or 10+(?) LDR, the kill requirement was originally 201+ before v1.32 released in October 11th, 2019.

Kills/Deaths, ratio and rank

The user is able to accumulate kills and deaths by playing approved maps, there is also the KDR (Kill/Death ratio) which divides your kills by your deaths, your Overall KDR will also influence your "Overall KDR rank". There are certain ranks that are not affected by your KDR however, while it is rounded to the nearest hundrenth this does not affect your rank.

For example, dividing 7334 (kills) by 4898 (deaths) will result in the quotient being 1.497345855451205, and while it displays on the website as 1.5, your rank will still be Race Rescuer, rather than PROmoted, this same logic also applies to other statistics.

The user may choose to reset their kills and deaths back to 0, which also resets your overall KDR and rank back to Newbie, but not without resetting your SP and ASP as well. This list shows all known KDR ranks.

  • Advanced Pacifist ( 0 kills, 100+ deaths)
  • Pacifist ( 0 kills, 30+ deaths)
  • Newbie ( Default, but displays on your profile after 1+ kills)
  • Marine (30-59 kills with variable KDR, can be atleast <0.7)
  • Advanced Marine (60+ kills, or variable KDR (atleast 0.7+) with 30+ kills)
  • Professional (1.1+ KDR)
  • Elimination Master (1.25+ KDR)
  • Race Rescuer (1.35+ KDR)
  • PROmoted (1.5+ KDR, grants Advanced Player status if you have 501+ kills)
  • Immortal (No deaths, grants Advanced Player status if you have 501+ kills)

Skill points

Skill points (SP) are attainable by eliminating players in Ranked matches, despite their name they shouldn't be used as an indicator of the player's overall skill. The amount of SP earned/lost is determined by your victim/killer's SP, gaining or losing the most when fighting a player with an equal amount of SP, a tiny amount of SP is also lost on self-destructs. SP will also affect how much average skill points (ASP) the player earns every 24 hours divided by 7, proportional to the amount of SP which also decays daily, the amount decayed depends on how much SP they had the day before. If their SP becomes low enough, they will lose ASP instead, though it will never go below 0.5 ASP unless the player voluntarily resets their ASP and SP.

If the player's ASP is a high enough, they will be put on the "Top 100 players" leaderboard, earning a place on the leaderboard will grant a title and placement put next to your KDR depending on your placement, this award is permanent and does not diminish if the player's placement becomes lower even if it is reset. Below is a list of all possible titles, and what placement is needed to earn them.

  • "One of best warriors" | 11th to 100th place, need to be atleast 20th place for it to show on your profile publicly.
  • "Legendary Warrior" | 4th to 10th place
  • "Silver Legend" | 3rd place
