Version 1.28 (also known as the Community Art Update) was a major update for the Plazma Burst 2 game and a minor one for the Level Editor. Its beta was released on the February 2nd 2018,[1] and was fully released on February 8, 2018. The update featured several new skins, weapons, decorations and a few triggers. Guns, characters and decorations were voted for on a polls page (currently, it does not display any of the entries).[2]

The update included 20 new guns, 13 new characters, 18 new decorations and 20 new trigger types.

  • New triggers:
    • Text to speech > Create Voice object and save it as variable 'A'
    • Text to speech > Set volume 'B' for Voice object 'A'
    • Text to speech > Set pitch 'B' for Voice object 'A'
    • Text to speech > Set voice model 'B' for Voice object 'A'
    • Text to speech > Speak text 'B' with Voice object 'A'
    • Text to speech > Speak text-value of variable 'B' with Voice object 'A'
    • Var > Set value of variable 'A' to result of asin function with value of variable 'B' as parameter

  • Trigger filter in level editor.
  • Ability to edit triggers as text.
  • Map save logs have been added, which allows people to revert changes they made if needed. Each revision is stored in a temporary folder.
  • Doors no longer ignore decimals in their speed.[4]
  • Gun variables now work as intended.[5]
